TrumpCare give millionaires tax break; poor get ER again

GOP to citizens: Chose iphone or health insurance—insulting us won’t help!
Will GOP “free” us from ObamaCare so that we are “free” to wait in hospitals for care?
Ryan and the millionaire Congress offer their wealthy donors more ‘freedom’ and tax credits but where will that leave us? Without a plan to secure, NOT just have ‘access’ to health care, we will have no choice; no ‘freedom’. We return to the bad old days. When our employer does not provide a plan we can afford—all the co pays, deductibles, etc—we will be forced on to Medicaid which, if left to each state, becomes substandard. We will be back to the process of doing without care/medication or sitting in emergency rooms or paying for a plan that leaves us with $100,000 debt and bankruptcy as before. Medical debt caused HALF of all bankruptcies. Tax credits can’t pay $250,000 cancer treatment. Medicaid expansion meant that people who work for $10 an hour could obtain care. Old Medicaid without fed money only covered those too sick to work. Medicaid qualifications vary from state to state, so the required income level is not consistent; however, it is typically below the poverty line. Few doctors take it.  https://www.healthinsurance.org/alabama-medicaid/  Ryan has proposed giving states a bucket of money which may not reach those who need care. Many states have given away tax money to millionaires to buy art or offshore shelters and are facing school closures etc. They may use the Ryan block grants for other emergencies. Poor sick people can’t complain loud enough to change things. Freedom of ‘choice’ in health care means early death for poor and tax breaks for rich.

The Don will ‘hurt you and family’ if you’re not loyal—how dictators work
Like the mafia family, Don Trump does not tolerate disloyal leaking of his group’s secrets. When his nephew’s infant child got cerebral palsy, The Don cancelled his family health plan because they contested the father’s will. Every employee, even top WH staff, is having their phone logs and emails monitored for leaks. It is so bad that State Dept officials only speak face to face—no digital communication. Everyone with something important to say is ‘standing in the parking lot’ or meeting after work in the garage just as Watergate’s Deep Throat. Meanwhile Bannon, The Don’s consigliore is having Don sign behind closed doors a measure that killed a regulation to tighten gun background checks. Bannon’s goal is “deconstruction of the administrative state” and so secretly, changed the chain of command at Justice. His boss Sessions is implicated in a conspiracy with Russia to defeat the democratic candidate. Putin vowed to keep Hillary out of power. Bannon sent Priebus to get the FBI to kill their investigation of the Russia collusion. Bannon sent WH Counsel McGahn to meddle in FBI investigation of Russian mob influence.
A special prosecutor would clear the air but that would mean The Don lost control.

FREE tax preparation
Advertising to you is how they pay for free credit score and “free” tax prep
https://www.creditkarma.com/ needs your views to obtain dollars from sellers of financial services and they give you software to file federal and state taxes at no cost. If you need to file a simple return, this is the cheapest way. Usually simple means you have W-2 income and few deductions. The IRS has a topic look up so you can find the answer to your question easier than waiting on the telephone for an operator to answer:  https://taxmap.ntis.gov/taxmap/. Also, you can do your federal online FREE using commercial sites through the IRS https://www.irs.gov/uac/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free. These sites charge for a state return. You can also use a local AARP tax aide office: http://www.aarp.org/money/taxes/aarp_taxaide/ AARP does not discriminate by age or income so they can usually take care of most people. Best tip: deduction for IRA contributions and tax credit up to $2,000 subtracted from tax you owe. Double Your Pleasure.

Uncle Sam helps us increase our tax refund
‘How can I increase my refund’ is a question I get when I do taxes as an AARP tax-aide volunteer. First, the best way to increase your refund is to run a small business. Every expense you have remotely connected to that business is deductible and losses reduce your income. Example: Trump’s clothing and his clubs in FL and NJ were deductible because he stayed there ‘on business.’ In at least 3 years, his losses were greater than his income and thus no tax. Second, make a deductible IRA contribution to reduce income AND receive a tax credit. Double Benefit! Third, count up all your medical expenses. Some states allow deductions from dollar one. Fourth, count up charity and expenses for the job. Fifth, take a course to improve your skills in computers and take the tax credit against what you owe. Sixth, reduce taxable income by using FSA at work. The child, child care, education, and earned income credits are the most powerful—they reduce your taxes dollar for dollar. I owed $956 on my income but I reduced it by 25% using my wife’s CE education credit, my new windows credit and my retirement savings credit.
Finally, you can save $200-$400 by doing taxes yourself. New software from one of the IRS partners makes it easy: https://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/jsp/index.jsp

How The Don is played by dictator Putin
Putin did not like the sanctions by Obama for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and feared they could go higher with Hillary. What to do? Like Syria, undermine opposition to Assad. Start meetings with the Trump inner circle suggesting end to US agreements—Europe, China, Asia, Mexico, Canada. Isolate US. Have Trump question NATO and Asian alliance. Promise help in exchange for lifting sanctions and giving up East Ukraine. Use disinformation from RT and offer political guidance on undermining democratic institutions. Pour money into Trump PACS via dummy corporations that can’t be traced back to Russian surrogates. Russia’s elites buy Trump properties and projects like Bayrock Group. Counter-intelligence and hacking is used where effective. Develop pressure points on Trump—30-year ties to Russia, Russian mafia ties, admiration for his vanity, praise for his insecurity, promises of business in Russia. Feed guidance thru Manafort so Trump picks advisors Russia knowsFlynn, Tillerson, Bannon, Page, Sessions, Jared, Ivanka and son Don Jr. All have Russian contacts. Trump has 30 years of doing deals in Russia and with Russians; many Putin colleagues.
Trump has unreasonable deference for America’s long time enemy. “Follow the money.”
“He will make the greatest President of our century,” claims a Russian with mob ties.

Financial meltdown and recession are more likely now
The Don has vowed to reduce regulation on financial institutions. This causes some Fed officials to warn us. Banks secure their assets (loans and trades) with only $6 per $100. Stress tests have not shown they are strong enough for another crisis. Banks are even more intertwined and oversized than before the recession. Every year, Congress cuts the budget of the regulators of the $34 trillion derivatives trading (2007 crash) so crash 2.0 likely. Trump placed a movie mogul in charge of Treasury. Trump has 3 Fed vacancies so he can continue the reinforcements or put Bannon’s “deconstruction” men in place. We won’t know until we have a crisis like a market crash or nuclear exchange with N. Korea or Ukraine style invasion of Eastern Europe. Putin has his “Make Russia Great Again” plan too.

Your 401k and IRA balance are up—hold or sell, that is the question
The current bull run is now the second longest since 1928. Even without counting dividends, the Standard & Poor’s index has risen more than 6 percent since New Year’s Day, nearly 20 percent in the last 12 months and roughly 250 percent since the start of the bull market in March 2009. Market average is 11% over time. You know it is all expectations: Trump will deregulate all, cut taxes, create jobs, grow the economy 6%, deport 11 million working people and walk on water. Maybe not.
What does the greatest investor, Warren Buffett, say?

Used luxury car or brand new car
Some people are faced with this tough question and ask for help. They do their research. First, what do you really want—reliable, quality, value, good mileage, impress peers, great fun experience, 2nd childhood life, etc. Second, how much are you going to spend? Third, finance it or pay cash or blend? Fourth, good mechanic or good dealer? Fifth, immediate or willing to wait for best deal? Sixth, Internet search within 100 miles: http://www.consumerreports.org/used-cars/best-used-cars-for-under-30000-dollars/
KBB.com, CarGurus.com, Edmunds.com, cars.com, autotrader.com, etc. Your insurance may go up since more people commute and are distracted by cell. Health care and repair costs rise as technology added. Are we safer with more gizmos?

Are you worried about an IRS audit? Forgetaboutit
Don’t worry. Congress has cut staff so low they can’t even finish the audit of The Don. The number of people audited by the IRS in 2016 dropped for the sixth straight year, to just over 1 million. Just 0.7 percent of individuals were audited, either in person or by mail. Corporate audits were down by 17 percent last year. Just 0.49 percent of corporations were audited, the lowest rate in at least a decade. You are more likely to be cheated by your tax preparer than be questioned by the IRS. They don’t call; they send letter. The most common reasons for audit are high income, unreported income, over 50% deductions, all-cash business, over 10% charity, rental losses, alimony, hobby loss, home office, entertainment, foreign bank, foreign income exclusion, car for biz, early IRA/401k income, day/currency trader, big gambling win.
This is how the rich avoid an audit: Trump’s lawyer tells the tax assessor of Ossining that his National Golf Club in Ossining is worth only $1.4 million yet it gives The Don over $10 million a year and is really worth $50 million. Depreciation reduces his taxes more.

New TrumpCare law is really excuse to cut taxes for the rich
GOP is using the repeal of ObamaCare to give millionaires a big tax cut. The bill has a windfall for the top 1% who now pay 20 taxes for ObamaCare. They don’t say this. Instead they are marketing TrumpCare as “freedom”: “We’re not going to send an IRS agent out to chase you down and make you buy health insurance,” Rep. Michael Burgess (R-Texas), the chairman of the Energy and Commerce health subcommittee, said last month. “If the [coverage] numbers drop, I would say that’s a good thing, because we’ve restored personal liberty in this country.”
GOP abolishes the mandate so when people get sick or accident, we all will pay like before. You can have “access” but there is no cap on what insurers can charge. Conservatives want to cut even more help for obtaining health insurance. Age-rated tax credit of $2,000 can be advanced so you may buy a substandard policy. If you are really sick or have a coverage gap you will pay much more. Prices will go up so working poor will only buy limited coverage that does not cover all your bills. Trump does not have ACA but calls it “nightmare.” Prices are market driven so Congress millionaires can afford to buy whatever they want and we will get junk policy for $2,000. Minimum for a full-coverage policy now costs about $400/month. Medicaid subsidy to states phased out so fewer poor will be covered for fewer needs. What workers lose with TrumpCare is coverage and money. GOP did not cut insurance prices; gave big pharma blank check.

Remember, Don Trump is still a contractor from Queens NY, just richer than most. As a promoter, his income is from lending his wealth “brand” to other’s buildings and golf. The Don does not like to read so policy is 1 page of MAPS—he likes maps and TV. He conducts secret state business in front of the wealthy; letting them play with the nuclear “football” that can kill us all. Richard DeAgazio might be Russian spy who switched nuclear briefcase on Rick during photo op. Creates fear to control base. Tweets all night.

Real Donald Trump called for lock-step marching by all and remember your brown shirts. When ideology “discards and chops off” the facts and calls world normal.
Conservatives jump into anarchy: “the deconstruction of the administrative state.” Bannon called himself a “Leninist” who wanted to “bring everything crashing down.” State Dept being decimated. Putin thrilled!

Does The Don realize that he is now President of a country NOT just a corporation?
Can America have a recall election—I want to change my vote; 61,000 others in PA, MI

Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets,” Trump Jr. said at the time. “We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia."
After six bankruptcies, Russian mob money allowed The Don to stay afloat. Russian money allowed The Don to make deals in US and Canada. His development money does NOT come from banks but illicit assets laundered through real estate, like Rybolovlev’s purchase which is a Russian strategy used by Putin’s inner circle.  FBI is checking Russian Alpha bank link to Trump server.

Russian hackers are demanding ransom from groups critical of the Trump administration. Intimidation and fear tactics are powerful weapons in democracy.
New Muslim ban is still unconstitutional--it discriminates. What about 9/11 Saudis?

Movie mogul Mnuchin, Treasury, will suspend payments to certain pension funds as it tries to delay, as long as possible, falling behind on other payments as US hits debt limit.

“Obama wire tapped me” investigation is smoke. Trump’s Justice Dept has log of requests to court for all wiretaps. Trump does not understand how govt works.
Where do these Trump ‘alternate facts’ come from? Paranoia unstable volatile?

Pentagon wants greater number of weapons for “tailored nuclear option for limited use.”
Trump: “the power, the devastation is very important to me.” Has “codes” as watches TV “maybe ISIL, maybe Europe needs small nuclear; when I negotiate I want them guessing.

The Dictator wants to build more carriers which are expensive and can be killed easily and the military can’t use. The enemy can sink a $13 Billion carrier in 20 minutes. Terrorists can be killed in cheaper ways.

Bannon is halting an inquiry into oil and gas industry emissions of methane that destroys ozone protection from the sun. Bannon pushing to pull down Paris climate accord too. The Don’s golf courses now benefit from his canceling clean water rule—fairway runoffs

Sessions lied on Fox when asked if knew Putin wanted Trump to win. His committee received in January a declassified report from U.S. intelligence agencies that Putin did.
Under oath, Sessions said Jan. 10: “…I did not have communications with the Russians.”
Sessions can lie: Constitution's Speech or Debate Clause says our Reps ABOVE that law.
Alternative universe: Sessions explanation says “no lie, just correct statement”

The Don boosts tax credit educational system with visit to FL Catholic not public school. But research shows little difference in outcomes. Parental support key to kid success.

The Don benefited from a deal with Mexico utility to pipe low-cost TX gas to run US businesses in Mexico against his own promise to keep US jobs here.

Man who patches Mexico border says no GREAT WALL: Trump could learn something.

The Don claims credit for things he had nothing to do with:
Fiat Chrysler will invest in Michigan and Ohio plants and create 2,000 jobs. The CEO said it had been in the works for more than a year and had nothing to do with Trump.
Ford expanded in Michigan rather than in Mexico. But it had more to do with a strategic decision related to investing in electric vehicles not Trump talk.
Walmart said it would create 10,000 jobs in 2017 as part of a $6.8 billion capital spending plan announced in October.
Intel would create 10,000 jobs at a “new” plant in Arizona. But the chipmaker already announced this factory in 2011 with Obama. It just hadn’t opened yet.
SoftBank, the Japanese company that owns a controlling stake in Sprint, announced a $100 billion technology budget but Sprint may only replace workers with SoftBank ones.
Alibaba, the Chinese e-commerce company, pledged to create 1 million U.S. jobs if he can unseat Amazon.com as largest e-commerce as planned in 2015.

Regs are ignored by detention “courts” to deport not just criminals but the unlucky.

Increase your tax refund: Uncle Sam helps

Increasing your tax refund—Uncle Sam pays you to work and save
How can you increase your refund is a question I get when I do taxes as an AARP volunteer. First, the best way to increase your refund is to run a small business. Every expense you have remotely connected to that business is deductible and losses subtract from income. Example: Trump’s clothing and his clubs in FL and NJ were deductible because he stayed there ‘on business.’ In at least 3 years, his losses were greater than his income and thus no tax. GOP plans to eliminate lunch for the kids
The debate over free lunch is no joke. Last year, Republicans pushed to introduce a bill that could have stopped thousands of schools from offering free lunch to all public school students. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos made a joke Thursday about no one getting a free lunch at the Trump Political Action Conference. But the comment came as DeVos, a billionaire staunch opponent of public schools, leads the nation's free lunch program that provides nutrition to low-income students and is under attack from Republicans, raising questions about whether the administration of President Donald Trump will protect food aid programs for children, NPR reported. Some kids don’t have breakfast so lunch is important. Roughly 31 million American school children qualify for free lunch.
The cost savings from ending kid’s lunch never shows up in total spending for war.
Hiring freeze cancels Army child day care—soldiers home and not on duty.
Cutting EPA, SNAP and State makes water dirtier and less refugee vetting. Don’s trips

Save enough from what you spend now for $1 million retirement
Do you handle your money like wealthy people do? Most wealthy people did not win the lottery or inherit wealth. They worked at a business and saved/invested over 15% of their income. They paid bills on time, borrowed only to buy income producing assets, planned spending, started saving early and automatically, negotiated price, avoided whims, cut fees, used free stuff, and researched every buy and never paid retail. For instance, instead of waiting for their $3,000 tax refund in March, they had the employer take out less from their check and set up automatic investing by their IRA trustee FREE.

GOP talk of ‘freedom’ to choose health care is from another world
GOP uses marketing trick to sell 1970s health care plan as replacement for ObamaCare. In their world, “freedom to choose” plan is important. Romney used to say ‘I want to be able to fire my insurer.’ Our “Reps” live in a millionaires’ world and so they can afford to buy any plan they want plus supplemental coverage. Most of us can’t afford to buy what Ryan and his group receive from us taxpayers: a comprehensive insurance policy that includes completely paid hospital and doctor and prescriptions for any doctor in DC and their home county. The average cost is about $24,000 for a couple. 75% is paid by our taxes. They pay the balance with a pre-tax HSA funded by their salary of $174,000 plus perks from lobbyists and their PACs. Just like Trump’s cabinet, their world is about ‘choice’—steak or salmon—not deciding if they must give up food or a doctor visit for their child. They don’t cut their pills in half so they can stretch their $10 an hour pay. Health is required to fulfill our “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" promise.
GOP promises ‘access’ to buy any policy; not AFFORDABLE comprehensive coverage.
Americans want what our Reps have—affordable full coverage from local providers. Americans who need health care can’t use a tax credit—they don’t have taxable income. When we go to ask our GOP Reps about health, they even lie about showing up.

Index or brilliant stock picker?
Best stock picker Warren Buffett bet $1,000,000 that an index fund you can buy would beat the brilliant stock pickers running an exclusive hedge fund—a bet he made nine years ago. Since then, a standard S & P index fund overseen by Vanguard is up 85 percent, easily outpacing the hedge funds’ return of 22 percent. The managers get the yachts while investors get the fees. For a short or long term investor, an index wins. For a bear or bull market, an index wins. Retirement savers in 401ks or IRAs beware: you can give up 63% of your potential nest egg using high-cost managers. No one knows the future but we do know that 65% of us don’t know the fees we pay. Some managers imply their advice is FREE. Wall Street takes over $500 BILLION from us every year. Buffett explains why the market average will beat all the brilliant stock pickers on page 21 of his report. He reveals his strategy and why wealthy people DO NOT take his advice.

Your tax refund: The PAINLESS way to create tax-FREE wealth
The average refund—fed and state—is about $3,000. How long would it take your INVESTED refunds to reach $500,000? 40 years, 35, 25 or 20 years? It takes 1 hour to start a $1/2 million fund. You do it with a fully-licensed telephone rep not an advisor/broker. Their fees can take 63% of your accumulations over time. Use the Buffett strategy and get to $1/2 million in about 27 years. You invest in America’s best companies earning 11% on average long-term. And a new study by McKinsey found that companies taking a long-term view outperform all others. A money manager gets a bonus for short-term results. It’s your money; you keep your bonus.

GOP selling Social Security and Medicare cuts by claiming to “save” program
Ryan and the GOP are using a marketing tactic to cut spending on our programs. Even the AARP advocates “saving” Social Security and Medicare. Our millionaire Reps will cut benefits and thus “save” the program. They want us to leave the details of cutting to them behind closed doors. Everyone is FOR “saving” programs. But cutting the benefits to save them is not what Americans have in mind—it’s a trick. Since most recipients of these programs rely almost exclusively on their benefits, they assume their Reps in Washington will increase them to match inflation. Americans paid for both benefits all their lives and see no reason to limit them because of demographic shifts and Congress’ wasteful spending. When the price of F35 fighters is raised by Lockheed, we pay up no matter whether over budget or not. I should not have my benefits cut because Congress limits the amounts the rich have to pay into the system. I had to pay my 6.2% of salary but anyone making over $118,000 did not have to pay on all theirs.
Congress can undo this American Socialism for the Rich: https://www.amazon.com/Americas-Socialism-Rich-little-people/dp/1535218584

Will you have enough income for the rest of your life?
We don’t know if the GOP will get away with cutting Social Security and Medicare benefits. Some of us don’t want to wait to find out so we plan ahead. Of course no one knows how long you and your spouse will live so we must consider our alternatives. Insurance actuaries do this for a living so we can use their estimator to get some idea at http://www.longevityillustrator.org/Profile?m=1. The most important part of having enough is to stay invested in stocks. If you decide you will not take a risk on the long-term return of 11% a year for stocks, even for part of your money, you will need to keep working during your retirement. If we assume one of you will live to age 90, you would need $600,000 to receive $20,000 a year for 30 years; $800,000 for 40 years.  http://www.moneychimp.com/calculator/present_value_annuity_calculator.htm
Unfortunately, inflation will make $20,000 worth $5,000 in 40 years. To defeat inflation we need to own stock funds—at least half of all our future money has to earn equity returns. Some advisors push annuities with the guarantee of a fixed but decreasing value. The smart way is to imitate an insurer’s fund yourself. There are no refunds for annuities. Best alternative:  https://www.amazon.com/Best-Annuity-Strategy-Income-Growth/dp/1497532019

Beware: Looking good is easy; quality is hard
These ten vehicles were voted ‘less well made.’ They might be OK if you lease for your business but consider that they may need more maintenance than a 3 year old Camry or Accord. Paying a lot does NOT guarantee quality. Mercedes and Dart are both on the list. Foreign and domestic, small and large, are represented. Certain models not to buy. Painless way to create tax-FREE wealth

Your tax refund: The PAINLESS way to create tax-FREE wealth
The average refund—fed and state—is about $3,000. How long would it take your INVESTED refunds to reach $500,000? 50 years, 40, 30 or 20 years? It takes 1 hour to start a $1/2 million fund. You do it with a fully-licensed telephone rep not an advisor/broker. The fees can take 63% of your accumulations over time. Do it yourself and get to $1/2 million in about 27 years. You invest in America’s best companies earning 11% on average long-term. And a new study by McKinsey found that companies taking a long-term view outperform all others. A money manager gets a bonus for short-term results. It’s your money; you keep your bonus.

GOP plans to replace ObamaCare with 1970s system
Ryan met with his group (which has free comprehensive insurance paid by us) to plan to replace ObamaCare with an outline of a plan. It would revamp Medicaid, offer tax deductions for doctors' bills, and state block grants for state pools to assist some individuals in buying individual insurance. We had this structure in the 1970s. If you are poor you will obtain care from clinics/hospitals run by the county/state. If you work and get coverage at work, there are no coverage standards—your coverage may be limited and be capped. If you must shop for your own care and can find a policy you will pay higher rates without government help unless your doctor bills exceed a threshold and you itemize your tax deductions. GOP likes health-savings accounts where you pay more using pre-tax money. If you are too sick you will be assigned an insurer by the state which will take state money but may provide substandard coverage from novice doctors. States will receive a Fed block grant like the 1970s and can use the money for roads not care. There is no standard. For instance, in NJ under Medicaid, doctors who take NJ FamilyCare receive only $15 per visit. Young healthy people will avoid insurance and visit a hospital when sick. Universal coverage mandate and caps are gone and costs vary.
Our Reps have great coverage for free. They never had to experience 1970s style no-care. Millions had to sit in hospitals for days for care; some were sick and never had coverage they could afford. GOP promises ‘access’: most can not AFFORD coverage.

FREE tax preparation
Advertising to you is how they pay for free credit score and “free” tax prep
https://www.creditkarma.com/ needs your eyes to obtain dollars from sellers of financial services and they give you software to file federal and state taxes at no cost. If you need to file a simple return, this is the cheapest way. Usually simple means you have W-2 income and no home deductions. The IRS has a topic look up so you can find the answer to your question easier than waiting on the telephone for an operator to answer:  https://taxmap.ntis.gov/taxmap/. You can do your federal online FREE using commercial sites through the IRS https://www.irs.gov/uac/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free.

Why is your advisor recommending ETFs (index funds)?
Is your financial salesperson charging you to use exchange traded funds? ETFs are index mutual funds that can be bought and sold anytime like stocks. However, they are index funds. Real index funds are meant for long-term gains not short-term trading. If you trade them, moving from one sector to another trying to catch the wave crest, you will lose. If you trade Alt or Liquid Alts, read SEC. According to the annual investor questionnaire results, the average return for managed accounts is just 3.79% compared with the index of 11.06%. My friends who have a low-cost stock market index have added 26% to their nest egg over the last year. Perhaps your sales person is like this “advisor”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_Ql_7NCk0o
You could be using Warren Buffett as your advisor: https://www.amazon.com/Warren-Buffett-Your-Investment-Advisor/dp/1518690963

TrumpCare: a return to the original GOP plan
Universal mandate, no lifetime cap, no pre-existing condition ban, cost negotiation from strength. These were all part of the Heritage Foundation plan when introduced in 1993.
Republican Sen. John Chafee of Rhode Island was the point man. The bill he introduced, Health Equity and Access Reform Today, had a list of 20 co-sponsors that was a who’s who of Republican leadership. There was Minority Leader Bob Dole, R- Kan., Sens. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, Richard Lugar, R-Ind., and many others. There also were two Democratic co-sponsors. The Chafee bill included: an individual mandate; Creation of purchasing pools; Standardized benefits; Vouchers for the poor to buy insurance; A ban on denying coverage based on a pre-existing condition. It did not expand Medicaid as Obamacare does, and it did have medical malpractice tort reform, which the current law does not.
Trump could tweak what we have and be a hero. Will GOP let him?

How to invest in retirement
Where do you invest if you are retired? If you are over age 70 you must take mandatory withdrawals from your IRAs because you got a deduction when you were contributing to you 401k and personal IRA accounts. If you are receiving a pension and Social Security you may have extra funds because you or your spouse is still working. First if one of you is under age 70, you can still make regular IRA contributions. It can be deducted if your AGI is under the income limit. This is a spousal IRA. You can put in $6500. You can make Roth IRA contributions at any age but there are income limits. There are no deductions now but every dollar earned is tax free in the future. You can also convert all or part of your IRA or rollover IRA to a Roth IRA as long as you pay the tax on the untaxed portion. This allows the rich to avoid the Roth income limits by putting the money in a regular IRA and then converting. This is a great retirement tool as all the gains are tax free and heirs benefit too. Retirement can last 30 yeas or more: invest.

Why aren’t those great jobs coming back? Trump has answer
When he tore down the historic Bonwit Teller to build his Tower, The Don contacted a construction middleman to hire Polish immigrants and aliens. They were not union and didn’t speak English. They were paid less than half the union wage and some were cheated out of their pay. The Don denies knowing anything. Today, Chris Wade has been displaced  by non union workers. His job was assembling cables and electronics for $30 an hour at Delphi Automotive in Warren, Ohio. Now Berta Alicia Lopez does the same work at the Delphi plant in Juárez, Mexico — for $1 an hour.
The Don did what Delphi does and yet the “worker savior” promises to tell firms like Delphi how to run their business. The Don has claimed that he saved hundreds of jobs and yet we all know those jobs can’t be saved. The Don can shame companies to move jobs around or delay moving but we all know it is just a promoter making his image stronger. Companies with unfilled jobs say no qualified workers, need immigrants.
Don’t be Trumped by The Don’s false promises: https://www.amazon.com/Dont-Trumped-Dons-economy-strategies/dp/1542615143

The Don lets polluters dump coal sludge in rivers—use only bottled water
Only two months after the clean river regulation, Trump dumped it so that Big coal can get rid of waste quickly and FREE. Lobbyists and Congress cancelled the reg because it was not even in force yet. Easy and quick victory for McConnell and Paul’s funders. The rules were difficult to write and took too long. Now the people who live in the aquifer of these mines will suffer over time. State regs are not difficult to avoid. Each family will need to test their water weekly so they can keep their jobs and stay alive. New mining methods blow up mountains for coal so owners must dump the remains. Valleys with streams are the preferred way and owners do not live there—only the little people.

Do you drive under 5000 miles a year? Save $500 a year
In some states, you can pay per mile for your full coverage. You need to establish you are a safe driver and be willing to put a mileage meter in your car. One insurer MetroMile that offered me a policy for 2 5-year-old cars in NJ charged me $760 a year with $500 deductible on collision and comprehensive. That beats my $1020 cost at GEICO. I have to get the car inspected locally. Metro operates in California, Illinois, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington. National General is the ultimate insurer with excellent financial ratings but with poor customer services ratings on Google.

The Don plans to cut programs you use everyday to fund war
If you visit a museum or support young people serving the needy or listen to NPR or need inexpensive legal services or support drug use elimination in your town, you will see these programs eliminated in the coming year under a GOP budget. If you work at a war materials factory you will see expansion of your hours. In addition, Trump’s team favors cuts in small but high profile programs to support his propaganda strategy of America First. His hats and Ivanka’s line are made in China etc. Meanwhile, Trump’s lifestyle expenses have already exceeded Obama’s expenses for the year with trips to his club every weekend while his wife sits in the NY Tower costing us $500,000 a day. We are also covering his sons’ visits to promote his properties in Uruguay and Dubai as well as Trump properties around the world. Trump is cutting our programs while increasing programs for his own benefit at tax payer’s expense. Trump raises tax for some.

The Don’s proposed tax cuts for the rich are wasted.
“Three-quarters of the tax cuts would benefit the top 1 percent of taxpayers” The middle fifth of incomes would get a 0.5 percent tax cut, worth about $260. Most economist say his tax cut will increase deficits and like Kansas, our taxes will go up to pay for them in the future. KS cut taxes to the rich in 2012 to stimulate growth. It did not work. KS budget is short $1 billion after cutting schools, roads, etc and raising taxes on smokes and alcohol. New income taxes on workers passed. Growth is created by demand from higher disposable income from the majority of Americans. The estimated $260 tax cut will go to pay a new 20% import tax on cars, parts etc from Mexico. Other proposals like allowing immediate depreciation could set heavily leveraged industries like farming, finance and real estate (Trump’s businesses) against those that invest in equipment that loses value over time, like manufacturers. More manufacturers would seek relief by going abroad.

Is your vehicle on the list of most dependable?
JDPower.com study finds that the 10 top-selling models from the 2014 model year average 134 PP100—significantly lower than the industry average of 156 PP100. Two perennial best-selling models—the Ford F-150 pickup truck and the Toyota Camry sedan—also lead their vehicle segments in the 2017 VDS. Jeep and Fiat hold down the lowest ratings. Owners are asked about problems of any type after using their vehicles for years.

We are entering the Twilight Zone:
"There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadowbetween science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone" where “alternative facts” and illusions of conspiracies are lived out. Lies are considered truth.
Rod Serling

Remember, Don Trump is still a contractor from Queens NY, just richer than most. As a promoter, his income is from lending his wealth “brand” to other’s buildings and golf. The Don does not like to read so policy is 1 page of MAPS—he likes maps and TV. He conducts secret state business in front of the wealthy, letting them play with the nuclear “football” that can kill Earth.

Trump legacy:  “get out of my country” supporter kills restaurant patron in KS.

Promises (lies) and Actual outcomes:

If Fox fake news says N.Korea fires missile, will Trump start nuclear war III?
The Don blames Fox for fake news about Sweden terrorist that never happened.

The Don’s lawyer has plan to give Ukraine to Putin—payback for election help? What is Putin’s game with Trump? Putin asked “what do I do now” after election won.

The Don tells FBI what to say about Russia—Comey already gave him election victory.

The Don places the media in the “enemy” category with terrorists and ISIS
Paranoia strikes deep:
Fear of failure creates alt universe; mistakes denied reality ignored.
"Any negative polls are fake news." Mad Dog says media is NOT enemy; its constituency. How else would we know what the Dictator does?

a terrorist attack in Sweden” stirs up fear using Fox fake news—no attack in Sweden just like no attack in Bowling Green KY. 90 real sources confirm ‘no’ Don, use web.

“suppression of an "adversarial" press can lead to a dictatorial regime”--McCain
"Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it."

Putin orders Trump Psychological Dossier : Trump was there.   I want a copy

General declines replace Flynn bec propagandist Bannon on Natl Sec Council.
I Inherited a Mess,’ “Russia is a ruse,” “The public doesn’t believe you people anymore.” “Are you a friendly reporter?” “See He lied” Don’s delusional response.

“You may wanna come around. It’ll be fun. We’re really working tomorrow. We have meetings every 15, 20 minutes with different people that will form our government."

Finally bringing comprehensive health care to the neediest was right on time.

The Don removed the Obama-era policies on climate and water pollution. He will rewrite 2015 regulation that limits greenhouse-gas emissions from existing electric utilities. He will restart the coal mining in federal lands. He will remove the 1972 Clean Water Act the keeps all waterways clean and allows farmers to pollute with fertilizer and pesticides.

The Don has cut red tape for lobbyists—new language doubles the army who tell our Reps what their companies want done. We are losers. 31,000 lobbyist write our laws.

Ignoramus Award:       deport 11 million working people?
Remember Ivana Trump’s insight: “Who’s going to vacuum our living rooms…”

How our government wastes our money:
It will cost us at least $600,000,000,000 to send 11 million illegal immigrants home and another $1.6 Trillion from lost income tax revenue since they are not working anymore. If the National Guard is used that will cost even more. All the low-pay jobs they do will require more pay for poor Americans so we will spend another $2.2 Trillion on higher prices for many things we buy. Rich people will get their housekeepers/nannies exempt by Trump.

Where have all the jobs gone?
Immigrants are present in construction, gardening, agriculture, fast food etc. all low pay jobs that few others want.
