We
are giving up our deductions so GOP can increase corporate wealth. Many
corporations don’t
pay tax at all. Some hide their money overseas which we can’t. Others like
Trump use complicated costly legal loopholes to save
$16.7 billions. Average corp rate is 12.6%
not 35% while most working people actually pay 33%. Plus many
corporations receive subsidies they
don’t need like oil and gas, agriculture,
and mining. Drug makers sell our drugs around the world for 40-60% less. We
pay full price! Corporations
don’t make jobs with tax cuts. We make jobs when we spend a tax cut.
We will have to pay
for their cuts. Ryan is pushing 2 changes: mortgage interest and 401k
retirement money. On the back burner is Social Security changes. Ryan has
always wanted cuts. Any combination of these will hurt many middle class on the
edge of life-style destruction. We will need 401k and mortgage interest deductions
to make it with the current level of SS benefits when they are reduced in 2034.
Congress needs to
end the corporate loopholes and subsidies
necessary to make the code fair? Why give profitable energy firms subsidies
they don’t need? Why did Trump fail to cut drug prices as he promised?

TX GOP a way to keep non whites from voting: In the decade before the Texas legislature passed its voter ID law, “there
were only two votes cast that resulted in fraud convictions.” That is out of 20
million votes counted. Since the law was passed, ruling noted, “the rate of
referrals, investigations, and convictions (detection and deterrence) did not
increase.” Voter ID fraud is fake and voter IDs are unconstitutional.
BEWARE GOP: Dems in
IL automatically registers/updates voter rolls so every citizen can vote like
it used to be from Washington to Obama.

in 19 states passed laws banning $15 an hour. Many states are passing STATE
laws to over rule city wage increases. This will put more people on SNAP food
stamps and Medicare disability. Walmart
relies on its workers working at low wages and we pay for their SNAP. Payroll
taxes will need to go up to offset coming wealthy tax cuts. Corporate taxes used
to cover 33% of fed revenue. Now it’s 10%. Trump paid nothing
in ’95 on.

controls like Russia) more of us are losing the benefits
associated with working in the US: Vacations, cars, college, nice
neighbors, movies, restaurants and paid health care. As this trend continues, America will look more like Russia than 1960s America
