A new report published by the American Accounting
Association found that savers who used a tax-FREE retirement (Roth IRA, Roth
401k) account were less likely to exhaust their savings funds than those who
used tax-deferred accounts (IRA, 401k, 403b). Most tax-deferred users do not
realize in advance the extent of their loss
to the tax bills each year. Many tax-deferred users don’t appreciate this
tax-bill reduction to their nest egg in advance. The events are so far apart
that savers may not make the connection between lower current taxation and 100%

save for a great retirement income?
With rents and food
higher than in the past, your target savings rate needs to change. If you still
